“Great location on the seafront and near the centre of St.Leonards. Typical former grand Victorian hotel in keeping with the distinctive culture of the area. Well maintained and recently decorated. Very pleasant and relaxed staff.”
“The whole atmosphere was terrific, staff friendly, room superb, we did not have breakfast but had the bar meals in evening, which were excellent, unfortunately the second evening they had trouble with the licence, so could not get a drink.”

“The ambience of the hotel greeted you as you walked in. It felt like the hotel was steeped in history which was expressed in the decor. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The food, evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Couldn't fault it. Good value for money. The room was nice , bright and comfortable. A pleasant experience, one which we will experience again very soon.”
