“Reception staff very welcoming. The whole hotel is clean and well decorated; beds were so comfortable. Our group of six had been at a birthday party a few minutes away so hotel is well located. There's a very comfortable seating area at front of reception area where we were able to chill and chat. Special mention for Trudy who was very helpful and obliging (we were still in dance mode and were allowed into ballroom, after the wedding party had gone, to get it out of our system using our phones for music). Lots of options for a great breakfast. We made full use of the fabulous spa/pool facilities before we left.”
“Located in the centre of town all its amenities and attractions are at hand while the beautiful Angus countryside is all around with the coast nearby too. Breakfast was traditional but lunch had some panache - both very good. The pool & gym for guest's use were excellent.”

“Awesome staff. Awesome town. A little loud on Friday and Saturday because of "night club" but not too bad. Had the room by the door to the stairs. Very loud with people going up and down. Would definitely stay again but in different room.”
