“The ambience in this hotel is excellent. So is the food and the staff. The family the owns the palace turned hotel seem to stay there as well and are gracious hosts. During our stay, we had the pleasure of watching a group of riders and handsome marwari/kathiawadi horses (there is an excellent stable in the property) leave on a 6 day ride to Pushkar for the fair. The pomp and ceremony of the the departure was very interesting. The soulful songs of the folk musician (and his wife) who sang and played the ravanhattha (a string instrument), at this event, still ring in my ears. I wish I could hear more of it. This is one of the memories that will stay with me all my life.”

“Wir wurden mit großem Pomp begrüßt, so wie früher die Maharajas begrüßt wurden. Auch sonst war das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und um den Gast bemüht. Die geräumigen Zimmer sind in schönene Farben und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Am Abend konnte man auf der schönen Terrasse einen Drink genießen, nachdem man zuvor im schönen Speisesaal ein leckeres Abendessen genießen durfte. Wir haben uns in diesem ehemaligen Herrschaftshaus sehr wohl gefühlt!”
