“This is a beautiful hotel situated beside the river. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. We arrived quite late to be warmly welcomed and were offered an excellent dinner beside the enormous old fireplace in the dining room. The food was excellent too. If we had been a little earlier we could have dined outside in the attractive gardens but the atmosphere in the old dining hall was good anyway.”
