“Have stayed at this location in the past for its on site restaurant as the food was excellent and was looking forward to dinner on our arrival. Only to learn that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. Big disappointment”
“This is the second year I have stayed at this facility on my way to my annual Canadian fishing trip. Like last year it was excellent. The staff is very friendly, the place is homey and the rooms are huge! The on site restaurant is excellent, having items on the menu you would not expect in a small Canadian city.”

“The 2queen room was very large and had a fridge and microwave. It had a view of the lawn facing the riverfront. Very quiet and easy access. The continental breakfast was good and they even made a special pot of decaf coffee for me.”
“Decor and furnishings in two bed rooms were more modern and updated than the old log side. For the price in the area it was a good place to stay, would be nice to have newer TV's though. The location by the river made for a great view from the room but when we went for a walk down the river path we did encounter some shady characters we felt we wanted to avoid. All in all though as long as we book rooms on the brick side (left side) of the hotel we would stay again.”
