“We stayed here one night whilst travelling by car. Plenty of parking is available on site. Our room was quite large, clean and tidy. The Hotel’s location can be noisy with nearby trains and busy roads however we had a room on the lower level down a flight of outside stairs, facing the river which was actually a surprising quiet location. We managed to get a good night sleep here. The heater worked well and wasn’t noisy. Breakfast was fairly basic, but it did have a choice of hot or cold foods. There was no yoghurt or fresh fruits to go with the cereal. No bacon We found the bed comfy and the shower good. The room had a fridge but no microwave The TV worked well but the internet was a bit up and down at times. It had an indoor pool plus a bbq area with seats overlooking the river area, but we didn’t get a chance to use either as we only stayed the one night.”
