“The property is conveniently located near a major railway station (incl. Shinkansen) and downtown is just 5 min walk away. Though the general area, Kita Kyushu, itself does not have much to see, the restaurants in the downtown are as good as anywhere in Japan. Additional advantage for me was a relatively small crowd of people (tourists and shoppers) in the hotel and in the downtown, which is good when you are on a business and need a rest after busy day.”

“Direct connect to Kokula station. Hotel is little old but the guest room was clean and roomy. Also it has excellent view of the city and bay. Good for the money and seems to be a good option for the tourists who have "JR railpass." Kokura station is just 15 min "Shinkansen" ride to Hakata!”

“The hotel has a connecting bridge to the JR station, which connects to the bustling sheltered shopping street. For those who drive, the hotel has it's own car park, which is chargable.”
