“The hotel is at the center of the town. Can easily walk around the town.”

“Awesome location right in the heart of Fort Augustus. Very fun pub on the ground floor. We were afraid it might be noisy when we went to sleep, but wasn't an issue at all (though we were on the third floor, which helped). Excellent breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend!”

“Nice location, right on the Caledonian canal. A short walk from an amazing Loch Ness view point where the canal meets the loch. Good for a short stay. Polite, friendly staff.”

“A very friendly welcome.Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Evening meal was delicious - I had a home-made fish pie with subtle creamy sauce. The smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for breakfast were beautifully cooked too.”

“Really friendly and gracious staff, a spacious and nicely decorated room. Bathroom not en suite but right next to my room, used only by me, and very clean. Nice pub/restaurant downstairs--I had a delicious soup for lunch when I arrived, and the filling and delicious breakfast the next morning was tailored to my needs.”

“We were greeted by a very helpful young man who showed us up to our room. Our room was at the top of the hotel so not ideal for anyone with walking difficulties but we had requested a big room...and that's what we got. Very clean bathroom. The breakfast was perfect - excellently cooked.”

“Alan the manager, is such an amazing and friendly guy, makes you feel right at home. The food downstairs in the pub is delicious, highly recommend the fish and chips! Breakfast is an amazing bonus in the morning, such good value for money, rooms are spotless, bathrooms are nice. Can't complain.”
