“I booked this hotel on behalf of my father. He had a very comfortable and leisurely stay at Hotel Richmond. The location is fantastic; the hotel is around two minutes' walk from Mejiro station. The JR Yamanote Line makes it easy to travel to some of Tokyo's most popular tourist destinations, including Harajuku, Meiji Jingu, and Ueno. The rooms are somewhat spacious by Tokyo standards. You can expect friendly service at the front desk.”
“Location was great! Despite being out of traditional tourist areas, the area is really nice and calmer than other frenetic areas in Tokyo. JR Mejiro station (Yamanote line) was only 200 m from the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants around, as well as supermarkets and convenience stores. The hotel is nice and it looks pretty new.”
“I needed to stay at Mejiro and this hotel was perfect. It is not expensive for the location. There are several restaurants and cafes at walking distance. Do not hesitate to look for small restaurants in the (very) small neighbouring streets. The hotel is at 3 min walk from the subway, and only a few stops from Ikebukuro (which is also at walking distance), Shinjuku & Shibuya. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is clean, with very good wifi. I have stayed there a couple of times, and I recommend.”
