“Excellent helpful service. Great breakfast. Really good value for money.”
“Great little hotel in a lovely village. Lots of atmosphere, with a great bar, lovely log fire. Room was very comfortable and a lovely view of the countryside”
“Hotel in great location to get away from it all, easy access to the hills & glens for walking, also visiting the Speyside distilleries on the whisky trail. Martin & Sonia were great hosts, always happy to help. Good food at breakfast & dinner, bar service was great from everyone. The hotel is currently being modernised, but keeping the original period features which is good.”
“Room was large and airy and very clean - shower and hot water no problem! Meals were nice and staff and the cat, very friendly. Still needing a wee bit work on the outside appearance but very enjoyable.”
“Rooms very clean and staff very helpful, good breakfast but a bit unimaginative menu.”
“The building is absolutely beautiful, you can tell from within that it is old - it shows its age with creaky floorboards and squeaky pipes but it all adds to the character. The room was very spacious, the bed was large and the shower worked perfectly. The bar was impressive with a wide selection of local whiskies. The local area is amazing, some truly astounding views to be seen right on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park.”
“New owners need to start thinking this is a business and not a facility for family to use. Bar almost empty at night whereas across the square the bar was exceptional busy, says it all.”
“Comfortable accommodation & friendly staff. The hotel is animal friendly.”
“Great breakfast, good place to visit distillaries and Cairgorms park, cosy bar to drink something”
“Great little family run hotel and it's clear to see that the owners love the place.”
