“The genuine welcoming, helpful and interesting staff. The view of the working ships travelling the Rhine is captivating as are the surrounding castles. The chef is excellent. Rooms and bathrooms are spotless. Nice path in front of the hotel to walk on the shore of the river.”

“We love this hotel, having visited recently, we went back again. Our favourite room - large and very nicely decorated. Bed super comfy, good en-suite, all very clean - good wifi and room has a lovely terrace to sit out on. Big plus point - all the staff are just so friendly, nice and helpful. Excellent dinner - but sadly the chef would not share his recipe for the best ever pumpkin soup that I've tasted! Free underground car parking. Restaurant with huge glass windows overlooking the ever interesting Rhein river. A definite must visit and stay again.”

“Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely spacious room with an en-suite shower and a glorious large comfortable bed. Terrace outside the bedroom to sit and enjoy - and in the shade, which was much appreciated in the hot weather. Very nice "beer" garden looking onto the Rhein. Restaurant with stunning views onto the Rhein. Hotel in a charming small town with lots of black and white timebered buildings and narrow pedestrianised streets. Undeground garage - free parking. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Short walk to the local train station. We loved this quietly elegant hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay - and we hope to return soon.”

“We booked a standard room but were surprised and delighted to find that it was large, with a bath rather than just a shower, and had a balcony with a river view. The dining room has even better views over the river and the whole place has a wonderful feeling of grandeur.”
