“Beautiful room, lovely staff. Food in restaurant fairly pricey but excellent. Plenty of local wines. Ate there twice during a 3 night stay - the first time the weather was good enough to eat outside on the terrace which was wonderful. You can walk easily to a great beach that has a beach bar round the corner to enjoy a fabulous sunset- the homeward uphill climb is a bit more of a challenge! Good base for visiting the local sights. What we saw of Licata wasn't as pretty as the hotel, but we didn't spend long looking so may have missed the better bits.”
“Lovely location with fabulous view of Licata and all along the coastline. Nice room, very comfy bed and very clean. Good selection for breakfast with scrambled eggs and rashers being made fresh for each guest. Fresh orange juice. Very helpful/professional staff. Cute little pool and sunbathing area. Restaurant is supposed to be great but unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to try it out.”
“The hotel is only accessible by car and even if you want to travel into Licata in the evening, it can only be done by car. The drive up to the hotel was quite daunting - as in many places in Sicily, with rubbish on the roads - from TV's to bed mattresses and general trash. This is off putting, but the once at the hotel, it is charming. Ideal for couples who would like some peace and quiet. Nice to sit by the small pool and overlook the town. (Pool towels provided) Food was good. Some mornings we were offered scrambled egg. Otherwise, just the typical Sicilian breakfast. Coffee was good.”
