“Family run hotel. Marvellous evening meal on the terrace, one of the best of our whole holiday. Lovely spacious modern ground floor room at the back with private patio area in part of the garden with sun beds etc. Amazing decor in bar/indoor restaurant. All rooms interestingly decorated and quirky. Wish we'd had time to stay longer.”

“About 10 kilometers from Lake Constance. The closest attraction is the nearby "Affenberg", (a small wildlife park specializing in monkeys), and the closest key sight on Lake Constance are the famous Lake Dwellings at Unter-Uhldingen (a few minutes away by car). The rooms are truly amazing, not ultra cheap, but exceptional value for money. Very friendly staff, and a top restaurant. Great base for sight-seeing in relaxed surroundings (beautiful garden at the back), as long as you are not wedded to the idea of being at the lake shore.”

“The is a wonderfully atmospheric hotel, with beautiful furniture and paintings, giving a real sense of heritage. It's only steps away from the railway station but it's wonderfully peaceful with a beautiful garden. The staff are friendly and welcoming and incredibly helpful and there is a delicious selection of food at breakfast. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to eat dinner in the hotel but the menu looked excellent.”
