“The room was spotless with clean linen, good towels, good water pressure. The staff is super friendly, always welcomed us with a smile, offering his help. Breakfast was included. Overall good value for the money, definitely recommend. ”
“Great hotel located in center of Khao Lak, in the second line from the sea. Close to restaurants, turistic agencies, etc. Even thou it's close to the street hotel is hidden between the buildings and is resonably quiet. It's 10 minutes walk from hotel to public beach entrance. Rooms are elegant, clean and well-equipped (including air-conditioning, safe box, fridge, cosmetics). Laundry in the hotel. Service was very helpful in every aspect of the stay - from assistance in choosing a travel agency through organising a transport. There was no problem to communicate in English. Breakfasts were tasty, but something typical Thai was missing, eg. fired rice with egg. Perfect as a base for excursions. I highly recommend. Value for money above average.”
“Rakkawan Residence is located very practically, with staff that are very friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean, nothing to point out except for a bit hard bed maybe. You can also rent a scooter here for 250 Baht a day without paying a massive deposit which was a big ++ for me! There are lots of nice waterfalls and beaches to explore so I would recommend everyone to do the same.”

“The owner and his daughter were very helpful and kind people. They organize trips for us, help us with a bus connection, you can borrow a motorbike, he advised us where the interesting places are (with not a lot of tourists). It was great just to sit outside and have a breakfast. The room is also nice with a big window. I felt there very good. The calm and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place!”

“This is a budget hotel and great value for money the staff are really helpful, the rooms are all extremely clean, comfortable and have everything you need, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. They offer a decent free breakfast with fruit, eggs, toast etc and they are very well located for walking to shops, bars and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!”
