“The morning front desk staff during Canada Day long weekend was super nice. The room rate included breakfast. We were expecting those regular continental simple breakfast. The breakfast turned out to be excellent. It was ordered to make kind of breakfast. It was still simple, but hot and delicious. However, the restaurant was closed on the second morning of our stay because the owner of the restaurant did not show up. (The hotel leased out the space for that restaurant. The hotel does not own and operate the hotel.) The front desk staff went above and beyond to make sure our needs are met. The hotel exterior looks a little run down, although the interior of the hotel has been renovated. Our stay was comfortable. The train track is right beside the hotel. The train only operated during the day. It was quiet during the night.”
