“The manager, she was fantastic. We booked for our stay in april (7 months before our trip). Got an email confirmation so we were all set to enjoy our trip. However, when we arrived, booking.com had failed to tell the hotel we were expected. Usually not a problem but with 3 or 4 major events in town including a 12,000 crowd for a concert, the hotel was booked out. So was every other hotel. The manager was fanatstic, spent over 1 hour getting us a room at another hotel in town through her connections (on plan J at that stage), which Olive paid for since booking.com had already charged us for the room at Olive. So while we didnt stay at Olive, the manager was excellent, and if we get back to Albury, we will stay at Olive. The score above is innaccurate since we could not experience the hotel properly except the foyer and rest rooms in the foyer.”
