“Lovely warm, comfy room with boiling hot shower- just what we needed after long days in the mountains. We stayed several days, staying in mountain huts in between and we were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel, Nothing was too much trouble for them.”
“The room was brand new and so comfy. The shower was a delight. We slept like babies and had a very fulfilling breakfast before we left.”
“We were actually upgraded to Europa hotel in Zinal as the other was still closed for refurbishment.”
“The staff were very helpful, and the hotel had the best breakfast buffet that we had in our three weeks in Switzerland!”
“This hotel is actually being renovated and is one of the oldest in Zinal. One of my relatives was president of the association de hotel de zinal and the pointe was there then as well The guests are being diverted to their sister property which is the Europe across the street. Run by a very nice couple and clean and well done all the way around. I would return again and again (in fact I have for almost 50 years)”
“location, middle in the centre of zinal. Good bed, clean.”
“We were actually upgraded to the Hotel Europe as the Pt Zinal was closed & the comments apply to that (we enjoyed a stay at Pt Zianl previously). Very comfortable and well appointed, excellent food (especially nice self-serve breakfast) and excellent dinner menu with wonderful pizza amongst other items. Near valley head, so quiet. Nearby cable car, stunning views, & many walks.”
“Pointe closed so Stayed in Europa which was very very good”
“very friendly place with a personal touch; perfect location for skiers: only 100 m from the cable car station and yet right in the center of the village”
“We were lucky to have a room with a window towards the front. (There are rooms on the 2nd floor without a window to have a view outside.) We could park right in front of the house. The hotel is located in the center of Zinal, therefor the shopping and Cable car in walking distance. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruits and fruit-salad, fresh bread, cheese and many other things.”
