“The best part about the pine barn inn is that it is located right in front of geisinger. You could walk up the sidewalk to the hospitals entrance. I was able to pick what type of room I wanted and since I had children with me I was able to choose one I could park right in front of. The beds were comfortable (sort of in between hard and soft). The pillows and blankets were super comfortable! Very soft and almost feather like. There is a restaurant on location and they will deliver to your room. Huge closet in our room as well as refrigerator and microwave. Plenty of food options around the location.”
“Convenience to Geisinger Medical Center. My son was a patient there for several days. The restaurant was very clean and the waitress that waited on me, had personality plus. She treated me as if I was a long time client, while in fact, I had never dined there before. The food at dinner and Breakfast was outstanding.”
“My mother had to be at Geisinger Hospital early in the morning for a procedure. This place is very convenient for family members of patients in the hospital. There was plenty of parking and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't get much noise from other occupants, whether that was because there weren't many or because there is good insulation.”

“The entire facility was very clean. The staff was all friendly and very helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. The bar was nice, too. Drinks were good and again reasonably priced. Our room was very nice, everything in good condition and clean, which is very important to me. We had a family emergency that brought us to the children's hospital next door. The length of our stAt was up in the air. The staff was very understanding and accommodating.”
