“Old design of the hotel building in the centre of the city in walking distance to every site of interest. Very nice and helpful staff.”

“Bathroom was great, good shower, in family room/ mini suite, which had separate spa bath. Room was large& clean. Easy walking access to historic sites. Car parking building just over a block away ( note it's creditcad machine was broken, so had to pay in cash.) Lovely Danish cafe opposite, with excellent breakfast. Also very good wine merchants, where we purchased one of the wines we'd had at Roy Petermann Restaurent at no71 on same street. The proximity of that restaurant (WOW! ) is a good reason to stay at the Phoenix!”
“Very good central location. Staff very friendly. Breakfast looked good, though I didn't have it. Useful little gym, not used b y anyone else. Bathroom smart. Good size room, windows opened up to street, noisy but Ok once shut.”

“slept on the bottom floor facing the courtyard which was nice since I've seen complaints about the windows facing the street and how noisy it can get, I did wake up from staff running in the hallway, rattling the elevators at night but nothing else. Breakfast was nice. Room was nice. I only stayed one night. Location good for old town!”
