“Welcoming drinks and cookies on the house. Room with exit on the terrace, where the jacuzzi, sauna and pool are situated, in open air. Great atmosphere! Great facilities, comfy bed and modern facilities. Great breakfast, with fresh fruits, smoothies, pastries and also cooked food.We were also given free tickets to the CR7 museum. The internet connection is very good, also.”

On the very birthday of my wife, the staff of the hotel arranged a surprise to her, leaving a fantastic birthday cake in our room. “Very, very friendly staff, great accommodation and rooms and good food for the price. As a football interested family, we were fully satisfied with the CR7 theme and also that the televisions everywhere showed various football leagues of Europe. We would highly recommend this place for families and other football interested visitors!”

“Best location in Funchal, the hotel is in the heart of the city and you can walk to anywhere in town. it is also by the bay, right by the ocean. the staff is young and super friendly and helpful (all of them, specially a girl called Jessica). The rooms are a bit small and I didn't like the lighting, a bit too dark, so to stay longer than a couple of days gets too uncomfortable and jammed. the restaurant is great, breakfast is pretty good with a nice choice. the location, the staff, the restaurant are the best features. I would go there again and ask for a bigger room facing the ocean.”

“Nicely appointed hotel which is very convenient for Funchal town centre. Reasonable choice at buffet breakfast and bistro style restaurant with a good menu. The rooms are modern with plenty of mirrors, a good ensuite and a good sized balcony with excellent view over the harbour - although one of the cruise ships docked very close. There were events in the 1st floor pool area on a couple of occasions but they did not disturb us.”

Especially liked how the hotel rooms had a shared common area connecting to the rooftop pool & bar and how the staff made an effort to have hotel entertainment and events for their guests. After long days exploring the island, swimming, hiking, it was enjoyable to have something at the hotel to meet other guests without having to go out. ”

“Amazing staff. The young beautiful woman who welcomed us and had arranged an early check in ahead of time was a superb ambassador. The staff in general are outgoing, friendly and personable. We were right above one of the most popular ice cream places in town so there was noise in the evening but it didn't bother us--actually it was superb people watching, and you see the warms social interactions of the Madeira locals below. We thought the breakfast was perfect--you can ask the chefs to make you sausages or special eggs. Try the super healthy baked treats. At first glance the room seemed a bit small but with the balcony and sea/island view it all proved otherwise. The restaurant below is very good. If the PR team ever wanted to believe in two crazy individuals with creative PR ideas for your hotel just let us know! We can see so many possibilities.”
