“The host Marios was super helpful and a great person! We were given a room to shower in, see photos after we checked out. This was very kind. From transporting us to giving us ideas of what the island has to offer, Marios could not have been a better host! Thank you! Receiption kept our valuables safe while we went out the last day, really useful. Bed was comfortable Size of room was great Balcony really sweet”
“Everything was great and everyone was beyond accommodating. All of our needs were met and the location was good.”
“The friendly staff, the position of the hotel, and close access to the beach.”
“Located at the end of the beach away from the town yet only a few mins walk. It was closer to the smaller cove beaches of which there were 3, approx 20,30 and 35 mins walk from the Askas. These smaller beaches were lovely and very quiet (June) and some days we had the beach to ourselves. Nearest cove had a taverna and more shade. Askas was lovely. Spotless and a fab roof terrace with gorgeous view in the evening”
“Great view, lovely breakfast and evening meal if you want it. Free shuttle to and from the ferry port.”
“Clean, comfortable, run by a lovely friendly family. Excellent wifi. Spacious rooms. They will take you to and from the ferry and can help with renting a car to get around the island. Recommended.”
“Greek hosptalty it its best. Extraordinary value . Loved the island, the people , the food, the laid back ambiance.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff, family atmosphere Free transfer service from and to ferry Beautiful roof terrasse Good restaurant And more ...”
“Marios and its family are sincerely nice and helpful. they are always available to help and advise you on anything. Just as an example, Marios offered us spontaneously free breakfast because we had a room for 4 people but were just two, free transfer from and to the port since we rented a scooter with a family company at a very convenient price. the breakfast was great and food at their restaurant very good!”
“Amorgos is a lovely island, one of our favourites in the Cyclades, and Pension Askas in Aegiali is a beautiful place to stay. The boat often arrives at the main island port of Katapola, but they will pick you up and take you over the mountain to Aegiali. The rooms are big, very clean, modern, and have all the usual facilities, air con., fridge, electric kettle, balcony, and sea or mountain view, depending on availability. Mario and his family run the hotel & adjacent camp site, and are extremely hospitable. The food in the restaurant is excellent, good wholesome food at inexpensive prices. They often have traditional Greek music nights, which attract many locals for a truly atmospheric evening. There is no airport, which is why you have to want to go there, but once you’ve been, you’ll want to go back again & again.”
