“Didn't have the croissants... but the bed was comfortable. It was clean tidy and value for money and should I visit Penafiel again I will most probably use this hotel. The people on the desk were helpful and as I completed my business early and cancelled the second night before midday I did not have to pay for it. The first time this has happened and I was very pleased. The restaurant was large and a good supply of breakfast items was to hand.”

“Estabelecimento hoteleiro completamente ultrapassado a necessitar de ser encerrado ou de obras de restauro e remodelação profundas. Entretanto, enquanto se mantém aberto, o preço é elevadíssimo. Desculpem-me a franqueza e o exagero, mas eu pagava para não ter ficado neste hotel. Exemplos concretos do desconforto: a força que é necessário fazer para abrir os estores do quarto; à noite tive dificuldade em estudar um processo, com as luzes todas acesas, pois ainda assim a luz era demasiado ténue; o comando da TV só funcionou à pancada; ao pequeno almoço, na casa de jantar, um pano no chão estancava àgua entornada; não toquei no fiambre e no queijo, pois estavam muito pouco convidativos ... Enfim, apenas ressalvo a simpatia das funcionárias da recepção.”
