“When I walked into the lobby, right away the cleanliness and decor struck me as a very relaxing place to stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I would have enjoyed staying there longer and take in some of the area attractions, however, we were just passing through and didn't have time to fully enjoy everything.”
“The eggs weren't extra fluffy and the bed wasn't like a cloud but the bed wasn't to bad I like the hot tub and pool the temps were just right and I thought the patio was nice.”
“We stayed overnight at the Pellston Lodge in order to catch a 6:00 a.m. flight to Detroit the next morning. We were on Mackinac Island and took the ferry to the shuttle (airport) to the hotel which is basically across the street from the Pellston airport. If the road hadn't been torn up, we could have walked with our roller-boards to the airport. The hotel is a little worn, but the pool and hot tub were great. The staff drove us to the airport both for dinner and to catch our flight in the morning. In a very old but adequate van. Everyone that we encountered was great - friendly, professional, and even fun. There is a nice little restaurant upstairs at the airport (Hoppies). We had burgers there and they were great. They even changed the TV channel for me so that I could watch the Belmont Stakes.”
