“We came to hike and the area does offer lots of walks/trails. The owner is on the premises 24/7 and making sure you are happy. German food does not have much variety but the hotel offers a nice menu, the best we have eaten all week... The bar is nice, and since there are no other public places within walking distance this is great ! You get a definite "lodge feel": secluded in the woods with a pond and river, personal style decoration, 3 big dogs on the property that are ever so friendly, a bar, good restaurant in its own area, buffet breakfast area with view on the garden, and owners always up and about to take care of you.”
