“The Hotel Palatino has a laid back vibe with very friendly staff - it has a real family feel about it. The hotel, grounds and swimming pool were kept spotlessly clean. The swimming pool was shallow enough at one end for pre-schoolers as well as there being a separate mini pool for toddlers. The deep end was very deep! It's an easy 5-10 minute stroll downhill (not steep though! Easy to walk back up!) to the town and port of Lixouri. Having spent the previous week staying in an apartment in Lassi, which was great, we preferred the whole experience of eating out in Lixouri. As well as being a little cheaper, and takeaways easier to come by if you just wanted food to grab and go, the restaurants seemed a little friendlier and laid back, with more local people using them, not just tourists.”
“The bed was v. comfy, air con v. efficient and the balcony was excellent,with great views. Noise levels were good. The room was serviced daily with fresh towels, every other day for sheets.”
