“We found we were in a lovely historical property and as it was hot when we arrived, our cheerful hostess Angela offered us a cool drink. Our room was great, plenty of space with a comfortable bed. Lovely views of the hotel courtyard and the quiet street below too. We thought the breakfast was outstanding, with a lot of choice and delicious egg dish. Highly recommended. ”

“Our stay at the Orloff exceeded all expectations. Even before our trip we received an email to welcome us to the hotel and details of how to get there from the port. The accommodation was stunning perfect location so close to the port with bars and restaurants but in a quiet backstreet so felt tranquil, especially when taking our breakfast in the beautiful garden. Fresh produce, Greek yogurt and honey to die for and homemade cakes and pastries - yum. The owner Maria was so helpful when hellenic seaways decided to strike - she took away all our worries and sorted for us. Both Maria and Nikos were v helpful with recommendations for beaches and all the staff just lovely. We felt v at home in this idyllic hotel and Hydra is so beautiful, tranquil and beautiful beaches that can be reached easily on foot, although water taxis also available if you wish. We can't wait to go back to both Hydra and the gem of a hotel The Orloff . Thank you for making our stay so memorable”
