“The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, in particular the lady who checked us in. She even brought us a glass of cold water after the climb up to the hotel (follow their advice about not following google maps and sticking to the lit paths). Great views from our room. Thai restaurant was excellent, they even went out of their way to make me a vegetarian curry, which wasn't on the menu.”

“I arrived in the afternoon, the young lady of the reception desk spoke a really good English. I had pleasant time speaking with her ; she gave me good advices for planning my afternoon in Onomichi. I read a lot of negative review on the "difficulty" to reach the hotel by foot using the steps road and I sort of disagree : Yes be carefull if you have lot of luggage ( maybe prefer a taxi) but it's doable in 10mn from the train station even you are no shape for sport. Tips : ask the information office for the best itinerary and dont trust google maps for once ! It definitly worth the effort : the view at night is nice and the promenade around quite good to.”

“Incredible staff, location a bit far up the mountain with car, but walking is closer just many stairs and uphill, the hotel is unique and really nice, tuktuk at the entrance, music and decoration was really great, clean and comfortable, great view over the bay, and the restaurant was amazing! ”
