“Location near Senado attraction by walking . But if you want to go to Venetian you have to take a bus . Cleanliness is OK although room is quite small.”
“Excellent location and walking distance to St Paul Ruins, Senado Square, Grand Lisboa etc. A little tricky to locate, but you can take Sofitel's shuttle bus from Ferry Terminal and walk to the hotel. Decent food places at the vicinity (noodles, Portuguese food and Koi Kei) so you can ask the helpful front desk staff for recommendation. If you need to buy bottled water, buy them from a small run down shop few stores away from the hotel, it's only MOP5 for a 1L bottle whereas a 500ml will cost you same price at other places. Overall good stay at this hotel.”
“Not-so-budget-but-also-not-so-lavish hotel. The location is easy to find because it is near Senado Square. Many food stalls around the hotel”
“The location is in the heart of the local Macau neigborhoud. Quite interesting”
“Value for money and great location - walking distance from all cool places”
“Basic hotel - one up from a hostel - don't expect luxury, but very helpful and friendly staff, even when checking in at 11pm - local neighbourhood is VERY local, don't expect to see many westerners there and no favours will be given if you don't speak the local language - all in all good budget hotel, don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed - good for backpackers wanting to splurge and those on a budget.”
“The hotel is right in the very heart of Macau Peninsula, meaning most of the main attractions and landmarks are nearby. There is public transport that can pretty much take you to anywhere in Macau. For the room itself, the bed is quite comfy and we were allowed to check-out a little bit late (like somewhere between 12:30 to 1 pm).”
“Clean and comfortable bedroom. Able to hire an umbrella. WiFi was very good and strong in the room. Location was good only a 3 min walk to Senado Square and close to some big casinos. Close to the shuttle pick up which takes you to studio city for free on the Cotai strip. Overall a good and pleasant stay and the staff were friendly.”
“The location of the Ole Tai Sam Un Hotel was fabulous and very central - that is after we found it. We caught the bus from the Ferry Terminal and while we got off at the right stop the hotel is down a small street and it took us a we while to find it - locals were very helpful. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room perfect for our overnight stay. We didn't have breakfast, but it looked good.”
“Overall is good, location is strategy, walking distance to Senado Square.Staff can speak chinese very well. Room is abit small but still comfort. Lots of restaurant near to this hotel and Koi Kei is just walking distance from this hotel.”
