“The Old Courtyard was the perfect way to start our trip - it's vintage colonial character reflected the flavour of the old Fort city itself. We particularly enjoyed our room at the back with it's four poster bed and spiral staircase. Meena on the travel desk had already helped us greatly with a train booking and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent - but don't wander away from your table because the crows will have it in no time! Like most hotels and restaurants now in Kerala, the hotel does not serve alcohol, but just ask and they will point you in the right direction! Top tip for Cochin generally: although the 'hard sell' here is a pain, the crafts and jewellery etc here are better and way more plentiful than elsewhere in the state. There's good currency exchange on the corner by the travel agent!”
“The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The property is old and has charm. The Wi-fi is limited to the courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the room was large airy and had beautiful original wood floor boards and ceiling with kerala antique furniture.”

“Lovely little guesthouse on a quaint street in Fort Cochin. Warm welcome from staff and clean tidy old fashioned room. Facilities good - good hot water and AC good. Equipped with mosquito nets. Staff very helpful with organising a local sightseeing boat trip for us - fantastic value with lunch included. A great affordable base to explore the multiple cafes and restaurants nearby.”
