“A truly luxurious ski hotel, ski in, open fire, magnificent onsen, friendly staff, well appointed rooms, three choices of restaurants French, Japanese and a casual sports bar, all excellent and an extensive breakfast spread western and Japanese offered. On top of this the manager Fred is ever present ensuring only the best for his hotel. Many of the staff were fluent in English as well. On top of this you have a wonderful ski mountain at your doorstep!”

“Staff is helpful and cheerful, no language issues at all. Particularly good at lost and found! Fred, the GM, is excellent. Gave good recommendation before our visit, during our stay he approached all guests for a warm welcome and he organized great activities in the evening for kids and adults. Love the place, ski in ski out yet no crowded at all as compared to other ski resort in Shiga. The 2 dogs, Shiga and Oku are just adorable! you will love them too. Ski rental on site is offering good discount and the ski locker is a good facility that adds lots of convenience.”

“Fabulous lounge area with open fire to gather around of an evening after skiing some of the best powder in the world! Staff are fantastic and you can't get better than General Manager Fred who not only makes sure all the guests are happy but also is one of the best Magicians we have ever seen.
