“This Japanese style hotel looks old but very clean and good taste of retro and modern facilites. And very good location for people walking around Tokyo.”
“I was so impressed the hotel staff's hospitality at this small hotel. Japanese breakfast at their jazz cafe, cozy Japanese bath space with good English/Chinese/Korean instruction board. All good as my Japanese point of view.”
“Staff were so lovely. They particularly looked after the kids with treats on arrival and departure. We stated in a Japanese room. Japanese breakfast provided. Staff waved us off until we lost sight when turning a corner. Beds were comfortable. Great restaurants nearby. Fun area to be. Public bath available all night- we didn't use it.”
“One of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed at. Staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were given and excellent Japanese breakfast although it wasn't included in our booking, we ere given a small gift each on departure, and had our photographs taken with the permanently smiling staff. The hotel is tucked away in quite a villagey part of Tokyo, about 15 minutes walk from the nearest subway station, with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Rooms are comfortable and air conditioned, but the best thing about the hotel is its friendly atmosphere.”
“Japanese breakfast was good, served in a pleasant dining room. Staff were very helpful. The hotel is close to the subway station and located in a pleasant part of Tokyo. There are many restaurants and shops nearby”
“Great location close to transport link, easy to locate Superb breakfast, exemplary staff. Health suite a joy.”
“Location is very good (1km Imperial Palace, 7min on foot ftom station Ochanomizu, 25min on foot from Tokyo Station). Room in Japanese style was unusual but very comfortable. Japanese breakfast is tasty and substantial. Staff is very friendly and hospitable.”
“Located in a great area this hotel has friendly staff and all the usual facilities. My favourite part was Jazz Olympus, a jazz record bar on the ground floor. The staff were incredibly friendly and I spent both my nights drinking and talking with them and locals. Also, the onsen was top quality.”
“I really liked the staff they were lovely. It was my first time travelling alone so that makes a difference. I received a gift when I checked out and they waved me off in my taxi when I left. Breakfast was also good, my first time trying a Japanese breakfast.”
“The staff were enormously friendly and attentive. Highlights include; Jazz Olympus, massage chairs in the basement and a hearty breakfast.”
