“Nice smaller size hotel on 2 floors with quality finishes and decorative touches. In semi rural area along the highway and good parking. Nice to walk from the lobby to the back yard and beach. It has a very large open yard between it and the beach with few lounge chairs to watch the shipping channel and mainland across. The few balcony rooms on the beach side are nice since they have a full patio door for the view - we were at the south end in 202 which is supposed to be the best one. Rooms very comfortable and great wifi. No breakfast as most places around but they provide 24 hr coffee/tea availability in the lobby (good quality). Went to the diner at Black Creek for the schnitzel.”

“Very clean, friendly hotel. Checkin was smooth and easy. The complementary coffee is a very nice touch. Beds were comfortable and clean. The grounds were well groomed, and the wooden seats, benches and swings offered great views of the beach and bay. Overall, it was a great visit!”

It was as if beach side chairs were welcoming the weary, while providing a place to bear witness to the artistry of the B.C. coast. As night envelopes the earth, this place is well away from city light; those same chairs became our live planetarium. A fellow guest seemed to be someone you have known all your life.”
