“Unique eco lodge on other side of estuary opposite Castro with gorgeous panoramic view of coast. Rooms were very comfortable and clean as well as the design of the whole property with high attention to detail. All properties at the lodge took advantage of the view. Good food and wine in the evening, appetisers on arrival. Lovely walk to beach down the steep path, good seats on way down and up although a kindly Chiloean gave us a lift up the hill.”

“The setting us exquisite. We had searched for a hotel using "Castro" as our location so we were surprised to find that the hotel was at least a 20+ minute drive on roads that are not always well-marked. The countryside is beautiful,the sheep are grazing on the hills, and the abundant apple and plum trees, as well as the raspbery bushes, were all heavy with almost-ripe fruit. We loved the scuptures along the hill as one approaches the main reception area, restaurant, etc. The staff is exceptional- gracious, warm, welcoming, helpful. Every person we encountered was extremely personable. The bedrooms have very comfy beds and a nice assortment of amenities in the bathroom. We especially appreciated the plate of welcome snacks (nuts, dried fruits, candy) and water.”
