What guests loved the most

“The building was beautiful, the scenery spectacular!”

, Canada

“Beautiful lake; great view. Exceptionally nice waiter.”

“Probably the most high end lodge in the region. Beautiful location on Lake Muncho. Stunning log cabin main building, with beautiful dining room. The physical building and grounds are lovely.”

, USA

“Staff was cordial. If the weather had been better, we would have enjoyed the location by the lake. Food was tasty despite being over-priced.”

, Canada

“Very nice hotel. The only real complaint was terrible pillows..did not sleep well! While we were getting ready the next morning water started pouring out from under the open sink. Not a big deal; the pipe was loose, but our toiletry bag was under it and got soaked. I ran out to tell the clerk, but he was on the phone. We had an 8 hour drive ahead of us and we're trying to get on the road. I interrupted his phone call and told him what happened and to please fix for the next guest. He nodded and out the door we went. Traveled with a wet bag all day and now dealing with a mess. Not so fun when your exhausted! The dinner was good, but bettter kid meals is needed. Overall though this place is a gem in a very remote area.”

“Location and the outstanding views. I loved the cabin but very pricey.”

, USA

“Sometimes when traveling, you find a jewel in the rough - this is one of them. Located 3 hrs from anywhere, this lodge is more a wilderness retreat (OK, the Alaska Highway is right out front) than lodge/hotel. Muncho Lake itself is worth the trip! The lodge itself is beautiful and the owners and staff keep it clean and tidy. My room was large and had a balcony that allowed views of the mountains and the lake. Possibly the best, and most surprising aspect, was the dining. I had possibly the best schnitzel I have every eaten and everything was fresh. I would come back just to eat if it wasn't such a challenge to get here.”

, USA

“Beauty of accommodation especially considering its rustic and remote location.”

, USA

“Every one was very accomidating, friendly. Beautiful location, right in the heart of the Northern Rockies...”
