“Staff just great. Excellent breakfast and very good evening meal.”
“Quirky hotel with lots of interest and individuality. Very comfortable room which was perfect for my daughter & her bridesmaids to get ready in for her big day”
“Stunning bedrooms, excellent food and lovely staff”
“This is a rather quirky hotel which seems to focus on tea drinkers. The staff were extremely friendly but quite stretched. It is oddly located in an oasis in the midst of a housing estate but quite serene once you have found it.”
“Thought breakfast was good, service very good. However I did ask for mushrooms with cooked breakfast and was amazed that there was one solitary mushroom on the plate.”
“A wonderful Quirky hotel, stunning property. Staff were so welcoming & friendly, we stayed in one of the apartments, it was just perfect. Breakfast was lovely & set us up each day for a full on weekend at Bloodstock festival. The proximity of the hotel to the festival at Catton House is ideal, taking only 8-10 mins to drive there. Will definitely stay there again & would highly recommend.”
“We'd just moved out of our house literally up the road and this overnight stay was a treat as we started our move to Cornwall. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was immense! The staff at Netherstowe are second to none. A beautiful experience all round.”
“Beautiful hotel, perfectly kept grounds, very attentive and friendly staff, quaint room (twin on the second floor), lovely design and attention to detail, very very good afternoon tea. Credit to the hotel, once you're within the grounds, you don't really notice the housing estate that surrounds it, and they've done a great job of making the hotel grounds feel private. Let's be honest if a hotel of this level was surrounded by acres of countryside, i think you'd be paying a bit more per night! The walk to the town centre is lovely, past the lake and with views of the cathedral - worth noting its about a mile though, in case that's not your jam.”
“A little oasis in the middle of a housing estate, you wouldn't know was there! The hotel was decorated in Art Deco style and was very sumptuous, the bedroom (the Seward) was beautifully decorated and the bathroom light and airy. Lichfield Cathedral was a 25-minute walk along well-lit paths through parkland and quite centrally located to the town centre for bars and restaurants! We decided to have afternoon tea which again was great and the tea overflowed. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and took the time to ensure everything was just as it should be! The breakfast was great - lot's of choice and plentiful. It was so good in fact we've booked to come back with friends in December for the Lichfield Christmas Market.”
“Good sized accommodation in the courtyard which is modern and the staff were very friendly. Lots of on site parking.”
