What guests loved the most
“This is a very nice family hotel with warm, unpretentious atmosphere and highly sociable and helpful management and staff. It offers plentiful breakfasts (English + continental) and excellent home-cooked dinners (we were on a half-board basis). The famous Greek salad as a starter, a freshly cooked main dish (local cuisine different every night), a dessert (often accompanied by a shot of Cretan grappa), and a jug of house wine - all included in the room rate! The hotel has a very nice swimming pool and lots of loungers but a vast pebbly beach with beautifully warm Cretan Sea (we were there in October) is only 400 meters away. Excellent base to discover western Crete - we hired a car, but a public bus to Chania or Kissamos stops right at the hotel every half hour. We will come back gladly.”

“The staff was really helpful and friendly. We forgot we had breakfast included and missed it. However the staff was kind enough to pack it for us. I was happy to find a lot of fresh fruit there. I particularly liked the mattress and we had a good sleep there. There's a good supermarket (AB Basilopoulos) right in front of the hotel with fresh bread and decent choice of everything, so we where able to stock up for the travel ahead. The yard is drowning in the greenery which makes it a pleasure for the eyes.”

“Everything was pretty good. Everyone there was so nice and hospitable, it felt like knowing them for a longer time. There was a diverse breakfast, so everybody could find something to like and get full. Every room had its own balkony and the beds were pretty comfy. Also everything was very clean!”
“The pool area was very nice. It was pretty close to the (pebble) beach though the sea was too rough to go in. It was handy having Carrefour opposite and another supermarket down the road. It was good that you could get food and local wine at very reasonable prices when you didn't feel like walking into town. Breakfast was very good and replenished efficiently. The girl who did breakfast and just about every other job was very good.”
