“The location was great. I could see the hotel from in front of Kanayama Station and it was located next to a Lawsons, a Family Mart, and a McDonalds. I only had to walk through the lobby to check in and to check out. Other than that, I could go straight to my room from the entrance on the ground floor, which was really nice. I was dressed like a backpacker and when I stay at nicer hotels, I sometimes feel judged by the staff every time I walk by in my less than fashionable clothes. I was hiking and trekking a lot during my trip, so it was unavoidable. Furthermore, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly when I checked in and explained everything thoroughly. The hotel has been recently renovated and everything feels clean and updated.”
