“The location is excellent on the fringe of the port (a 10 minute or so walk) and there is a bus stop at the bottom of the driveway, so easy to catch the outbound bus to one of the many beaches on the other side of the island (our favorite was Christiopipi -- when you get off the bus you walk down a meandering path toward the ocean; it is a small,but beautiful beach with a few tavernas so go for the afternoon and have a leisurely lunch!). Our hosts were always available and quite helpful in giving recommendations. You can also take the ferry to the neighboring island of Milos for a day trip (we have been to Milos twice in the past few years -- our favorite island in Greece by far!).”

“It was very clean and had nicer furnishings than we expected. The property itself is pretty and there is a very sweet cat that will come over for pets if you hang around the lobby area. The a/c worked well. The area is quiet and I didn't need my usual earplugs. It's a 5 min walk from shops and tavernas, and about 10-15 from the ferry.”
