“Amazing view - tucked at the far end of town away from hustle and bustle and just up the street from a really great restaurant so no need to walk back to town. Close to all the trails too. Really family friendly - our high chair was set up at our breakfast table each morning already when we came to eat. Toys for kids and safe balconies. Very clean and would definitely stay here again.”

“The hotel is located slightly above Zermatt in the neighboring hamlet of Winkelmatten, which gives it a superb view of the Matterhorn. It has easy access to the Matterhorn Glacier Express just down the road, walking distance. There is free continental breakfast, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We found the local restaurants in Zermatt to be delicious.”

“The hotel is in a wonderful location, up a little country road about a mile out of town and with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn when conditions are right. We arrived by a little local bus. These buses operate until about 7pm so very useful, although we did find the walk to town not too bad once you knew a short cut and found it nice to explore a bit. There is a limited amount of car parking space. Breakfast was fantastic, just about everything available; help yourself buffet style. Good REAL coffee 'on tap'. Staff very friendly and helpful. English spoken. Room had a comfortable double bed and excellent shower. Downstairs their is a sauna available to guests, we did not require more. Good wi-fi. Not a 'dislike' but as with many hotels there was no 'security safe' for personals in our room.”
