“The location was great, bed comfortable and all the basics there. It was right in downtown next to shops and restaurants. All the basic amenities there for a reasonable price.”
“Clean, friendly, affordable, plain but every need met. You have to be able to climb stairs. They offered to do my laundry when I asked where there was a laundromat. He said he had one washer available and he would do it for me if I wanted to go out and walk about in the town. I tipped him though he did not charge for this extra service. Nice.”
“This place is situated directly at Baker street with many historic buildings and funky shops. Staff is very friendly, the only concern you might have after your arrival is parking. They do not provide any parking lot.”
“This is really a very basic, clean hotel in a good location rather than a hostel as advertised on Booking.com. It provided minimal common space to sit, work or hang out, let alone kitchen space, like most hostels. Steep stairs to 2nd floor. Free street parking relatively far away.”
“Center of town. Walking distance to all restaurants. Good coffee and bread products several blocks away.”
“What a great place to stay. There was anything you could need for an extended stay. We did not expect to have dishes, cutlery, a cork screw!!! Toaster oven!!! Microwave!!! A kettle and coffee maker with coffee and tea. The continental breakfast was terrific. Would highly recommend The Mountain Hound Inn in Nelson.”
“Great location, friendly helpful staff, quiet rooms”
“Decent place to sleep beds were comfy. Staff was friendly and provided recommendations for food and drinks.”
“The staff were amazing and the beds were new and very comfortable.”
“this hotel was more than what I expected. Located right on the main street of Nelson, parking was by chance and metered during the day. Breakfast was surprisingly good given the fact that it was served on a small table in the lobby. The room was cozy, bathroom quite alright. As a bonus, the hotel also operates a laundromat right next door.”
