“Excellent attention to detail with the traveller in mind. I very much enjoyed the excellent hospitality tray on arrival with a wide selection of hot drinks including filter coffee and an assortment of teas, together with lovely biscuits and chocolates. It wasn't penny pinching as with some hotels.”
“We stayed in the Premier Double room which was a great size, fridge and 2 large double beds, large bathroom, very clean and spacious. We have a 3 year old so there was plenty of floor space for him to play in between excursions etc! We used the pool each evening and have to say both Philip and Matthew were both very good with the customers and especially our 3 year old son! Facilities were very clean and pool is a good size as are the changing rooms, very impressed with the swimming facilities. We all had a ball! We stayed the Easter weekend, while on a visit to Thomas Land....great location for this and the hotel wasn't too busy we were able to get a table at breakfast and dinner easily! However we ate in the bar on the Sunday night and would say the food was better there than the Calvary Kitchen. When we checked-in the receptionist appeared at our door minutes later with an envelop with £34.00 as it emerged that our room rate had changed!! So we were delighted and it was nice to have this and so quickly from check in!”
