“This place is a bit difficult to rate. The view over the Ella Gap is wonderful and the main quality. But the general impression is that of a hotel a bit run down. Including the kitchen. The owners running it are very helpful and nice to talk to but the rest of the staff does not speak English. Cards accepted.”
“Amazing view, worth the short tuktuk ride to Ella town (which we avoided as much as possible- unless you are an 18 year old backpacker you may want to follow suit). Rooms were great. Best part was the staff- the friendliest most helpful people in the world. The food at the restaurant is also really good- try to eat dinner at the hotel at least once (even if you aren't staying there) just for the crab.”

“The staff here are amazing, we were looked after wonderfully. The room is lovely with a huge comfortable bed, a fridge and balcony overlooking ella rock. The food at the restaurant is great, one of the best curry selections I had in Sri Lanka and the breakfast is really great as well. They even packed us a breakfast at 2 am when we had to leave for the airport and the owner and manager got up to say goodbye. We couldn't have asked for better service.”
