Especially the yogurt and the local traditional cheese pie.”

“A really lovely place to stay. Nice spacious room with views over the pool and sea. Excellent food available at the bar (don't miss the fruit and yoghurt for breakfast). The staff here were exceptional: they all turned out to welcome us and introduce themselves and we enjoyed some interesting conversations with them during our two-day stay. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and the service here was the best we experienced our whole time in the Sporades. The pool being saline is free from chlorine and was very enjoyable on a hot day. There are excellent walks from here down to secluded beaches and across to the other side of the Island. If we can to Alonosos again we would certainly stay here again.”

We had some problem with our oven/hotplates in our room, but unit with problems were replaced in 2 hours.. impressive! Milia Bay Beach is just 10 minutes walk away and we found it one of the best beaches at the island.”

“As a family of four (2 adults + 14 yr old & 11 yr old), we have just returned from a fantastic week at Milia Bay Hotel Apartments on Alonissos. The hotel is gorgeous - quiet and peaceful, set in a wonderful position with spectacular views of the sea from the clifftop. The gardens are very beautiful - we were greeted by the most amazing scents of jasmine flowers as we walked to breakfast/back to the room each day. The pool was lovely. The children spent hours in it. Our apartment, as with the rest of the site, was spotlessly clean and spacious. We had a fantastic view of the sea and the grounds from our large first floor balcony. The family that run the hotel were so welcoming and hospitable. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Very lovely hosts. We ate breakfast and several evenings meals at the hotel and all the food was excellent. I can recommend the Greek yoghurt, fruit, honey & nuts for breakfast! Such a great holiday.”
