“The Mercure Lisboa Almada Hotel is located in Almada which is a suburb of Lisbon. To get to Lisbon, take a tram ride to the port followed by a ferry ride to downtown Lisbon. The hotel staff is professional, courteous and very helpful. There is onsite free parking and the wifi signal is strong throughout the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, have a safe and are cleaned daily. The breakfast was very good and there is a supermarket located next door. Although the hotel was more than adequate for our needs, as a tourist, I would choose a hotel that is more centrally located if I visit Lisbon again in the future.”

“I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this hotel. I stayed on the Privilege Floor. I was able to view the sunsets from my room as well as from the restaurant outside deck. The restaurant has an excellent staff and delicious food. The food is beautifully presented as well. This hotel is next to a medium size convenience store. A plus for me. You are within walking distance to the local train. (Ramallah Stop) approximately 5-minute walk. The train one way cost 1.35 euro. I took this train to Cacilhas daily to catch the boat ferry to Lisbon. A round trip cost 3 euro for the ferry. NOTE: There is a kiosk at all locations. The train back to this hotel is Universiade, approximately 15-minute ride.to Ramallah stop.”
“Very clean and spacious rooms. We ate a 3 course meal one evening at the restaurant and the food was really great. All staff are very accomodating, helped print out boarding passes etc, and were always happy to help out with directions and questions. Very quiet and nice to be out of the city centre, but within minutes of the metro station if you need it, and big car park if you bring a car. After 5 days of being on the road, it was great to end our holiday at a lovely and relaxing hotel!”
“The staff were very friendly and efficient and most helpful in providing information about getting around and also where the restaurants were to be found. The room had everything one could require. It was very clean and in excellent condition. The breakfast was an excellent buffet with hot and cold choices. Something for everyone. The location provided an alternative to staying in Lisbon as it was on the south side of the river. If you take the tram which stops very close to the hotel and go to the end of the line, you can then board the ferry into Lisbon. Up to three ferries operate at the same time and the waiting time is only a few minutes. There is a Lidl supermarket next to the hotel and also a couple of bar/cafes close by.”
