“The hotel is situated in a walking distance from the town centre and near water basin, with beautiful illumination in the evening. They kindly upgraded my room so that I and my son could have comfortably stay in a suite room. While there was a maintenance work everyday in the lobby during my stay, it was calm during the night. The room was clean and modern and staff was nice.”

“It was a great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke fluent English and French. The room was excellent. I like a place that is handy and if you do too, you should stay here. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station and within walking distance of the harbour, lots of wonderful restaurants, a main street with bus system to get around and is near the information centre and The Volcan (an attraction).”

“The staff at this hotel are wonderful and obliging. I stayed at the Mercure several times during recent weeks and each time they did their best to link my stays and minimise any disruption to me so that I didn't have to move more times than was necessary. At the weekend they upgraded me whenever possible. I left my luggage there on numerous occasions, and nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff.”
“Located a little bit off the streets were the shops and resturants are, but still walking distance. And old hotel which seems to be newly renowated. We had a nice view from our room to the basin and the city. Good value for money!”
