“We had a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay. The beds were comfy, the room clean, and the staff very pleasant. We enjoyed the little details such as the drinks in the fridge and the toiletries. The apple tv was a wonderful addition to the room - we were just a little disappointed that we couldn't watch our netflix on it (not the hotel's fault.) The bathroom was immaculate too. The hotel was close to a tesco express, some lovely bars and cafés and was within a short walk to the theatres, princes street and cowgate. We plan to return every year!”

The hotel was within walking distance of Grassmarket a lovely area with plenty of pubs that served traditional food and has quirky little shops. Would recommend a visit on the run up to Christmas everywhere was so festive and the Christmas markets were fabulous.”
