What guests loved the most

“Beautifull settings as we drove up, first impressions had set the expectations, Reception staff very friendly and dealt with us promptly, Room as better than our expectations and very quite even though there was a Christmas party in the main room, we did find it a little awkward having to pass through the revellers, who were a little intoxicated by that point but not a problem at all, breakfast was fine although weren't told that it was a self service so had to ask as couldn't see the buffet from our table, however that's not a complaint just a mere observation, we did notice your venue before the guests arrived and made a comment on how wonderfull it looked, very impressive I must say and all your trees looks splendid, Thankyou for our stay as this was a first time for us as my sister lives very close by so will be back again”

“olde worlde. perfect setting. lots of areas to sit & chat. great bar with bar meals & breakfast super. staff lovely. very helpful. we might have confused the receptikn staff as we all turned up at the same time with the same surname!”

“It is very cheap for what you get facilities wise. It's a lovely building with some very nice and spacious rooms. Easy to park as the car park is huge. ”

“On check out the receptionist was to busy chatting to ask if we had a good stay and if there had been any issues. Spa was berry cold especially changing rooms the lady who was giving a massage didn’t even tell my niece her name. The lunch in the spa was lovely. Bedrooms were cold and so was bathroom. Lighting was poor no safe in room and condensation and some mould on walls. Prices in the bar were a bit pricey 15.00 for two glasses of prosecco. A bottle doesn’t cost that.”

“Really enjoyed our stay, hotel lovely, rooms are a bit tired, one radiator not working in our room and was replaced with electric heater and shower in bathroom had no pressure and fluctuating temperature. Buffet area far too small for the amount of guests, but still had a great stay, food was lovely and staff very friendly and helpful.”
