• Important Notice
  • Please be informed that the hotel does not accept third party credit card payments. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in or making payment at the hotel.<br>If you are making payment using another cardholder&#x2019;s credit card, kindly provide the following to the hotel prior to your arrival:<br>1) Authorization letter with cardholder&#x2019;s signature<br>2) Copy of the cardholder&#x2019;s card (front and back of card with cardholder&#x2019;s signature)<br><br>Please note that hotel may contact the cardholder for verification purposes. For security purpose, credit cards used for Non-Refundable bookings must also be presented when checking in.<br><br>Please note that credit card used for non-refundable bookings must also be presented upon check-in. Your booking will not be confirmed if your credit card is declined.<br><br>===<br>A security deposit of MYR 100 per room is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.<br><br>===<br>The City Council of Penang charges a Local Council Tax of MYR 2 per room per night payable directly to the hotel upon check-in. Please note that this is not included in the room rate.<br><br>===<br>Parking spaces in the hotel are limited and will be based on a first come, first served basis.<br><br>===<br>A tourist tax of MYR 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.<p>Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.</p><p>Please inform Merchant Hotel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.</p>
