“If you are catching the early ferry from Rafina, the Avra is the obvious choice as they do extra early breakfasts; but the Mati beats it in every other way: the rooms are larger and more comfortable, it has a swimming pool or you can go down to the sea, and it has the feel of a place designed for longer stays rather than one night before the ferry; I would say it is quieter except that on a Saturday night you will have to suffer the appalling noise of very loud "music" from the nearby restaurant. I stayed two nights and would happily have stayed longer; I will be back!”

It was a great break, the views were excellent and only a 25 minute drive to the airport.... 20 minutes at 5:00 a.m.😉 The staff were so very helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent and we enjoyed a delightful evening meal overlooking the Aegean Sea. The pool looked excellent... we just didn't have enough time to use it.”
