“The hotel rooms and restaurant not only have a beautiful view right on the ocean, but the food was probably the best we had in Greece. The chef even gave us a tour or the kitchen and the freshly caught fish on the menu. This is a family owned and operated resort that is very outgoing and accommodating to you on a personal level. They went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. The location is close to Chania for a more tourist area, but also close to beautiful beaches such as Elafonisi. I would highly recommend the Maria Beach Hotel to anyone wanting a clean, quiet, and beautiful stay. We traveled as a family of 6, visiting multiple islands in Greece, and this was our favorite place and will definitely visit again!”
“The beach and the proximity to the beach, restaurant, cafe bar makes all the difference. For a family with children, this is priceless. The beach is very clean, the water access is like it was designed for children, the sun beds are free. I liked it a lot. The breakfast was very good, more than I expected. The food at the restaurant is excellent indeed, I couldn't find (at it is my 3rd time in Crete) not now and not from what I remember a restaurant where somebody could eat a better prepared food. I strongly recommend it. The staff is very nice and helpful. A good price-quality ratio.”
